We are a family operated business with more than 30 years of experience in accordion repair and tuning. As musicians ourselves, we are able to understand the instrument's needs from a musician's perspective.

Born into a musical family in Helsinki, Finland, Juha began his accordion studies at the age of seven with Lasse Pihlajamaa, a pioneer in the accordion field. Playing the Finnish C System button accordion, he was both Finnish National Accordion Champion and Scandinavian Accordion Champion, earning the right to represent Finland when the Coupe Mondiale World Accordion Championships were held in Helsinki. Later, he moved to the United States to study accordion performance at the University of Missouri - Kansas City.

Additionally, Juha works as a piano technician, tuning and repairing pianos, and performs accordion regularly in a variety of musical settings, from private parties to large corporate and community events. His extensive musical background and knowledge has provided him with a solid foundation to accurately diagnose whatever your accordion - or piano - needs may be.

Juha also leads Hogfish Gumbo, a Kansas City Zydeco Band: www.youtube.com/user/hogfishgumbo

Janne's passion for all things musical started at age seven. First it was the accordion, then at age 10, the trombone. Years later, his dedication to the instrument earned him the Top Virtuoso Performer award, the highest honor bestowed by the Mid-America Music Association.

This passion stayed with him into his college years. Janne pursued his B.M. in trombone performance at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, graduating in 2010. Aside from working on accordions and tuning pianos, he maintains a busy performance schedule and teaches private trombone lessons. Janne is also a member of Hogfish Gumbo.
